I've found out that it seems only crashes with botan 1.x
I'm not sure why this would happen. It was firstly reported here https://github.com/shadowsocks/libQtShadowsocks/issues/165
I'm not familiar with Mac OS. Is `macdeployqt` part of official Qt offer? I think you can create a PR so others can also comment, thanks

This is a SIP003 feature that supports plugins. Currently it is not supported by Shadowsocks-Qt5.
It's not supported for now. No plug-ins, including simple-obfs, work at this moment with `shadowsocks-qt5`
