Change "./resources/binaries/ffprobe" to "ffprobe" in lib/storyboard/extractors/points.rb, should fix the issue. BTW, perhaps ffmpeg need to be built with --enable-libass option.

My env is VMware Fusion 13.0.2 on macOS 13.5.2, neon(based on Ubuntu) unstable, KDE/Plasma 5.27.80 based on Qt 6.6.0. The workaround "vmtoolsd -n vmusr" works for me.
It is perhaps a bug in Xwayland in mutter(GNOME window manager), you could have a try with KDE Plasma 6. See also https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/3383 .

Other than "run fetch_sources.py in the external/", this project doesn't support to build in "./build" directory, need to do in source build.
