Make sure it's backwards compatible. Account for search syntax use in queries. Make sure both windows and linux guidelines are followed. (Length, permitted characters, etc)
Review download code for ways to optimise for speed. Talk to the admins on IRC about what is okay to do. NO MULTI-THREADING.
