t5 and t3 flag meaning PAFTool Liftover output bed

Hello, When doing a whole genome liftover, the resulting bed files contain flags of _t3 or _t5 on some of the lines as seen: chr1 78142605 78143033 chr1_78599500_78600455_t5 0 + chr21 46171897 46172098 chr21_38832500_38833455_t3 0 +

I suspect that they may mark an inversion and was wondering if this is correct/what are the differences between the 3 and 5.
