Could Make create a library to link against?

Hi,

Could the Makefile for this project be modified to create a library file, similar to minimap2? I am trying to compile and link against minigraph.

And could this be done in a way that does not generate duplicate symbol errors when linked together with minimap2 in the same project? I think these are great libraries and several people will try to use minimap2 and minigraph code in the future.
