We are doing a similar thing for Falco config files. I believe it's time to revamp this. I'm transferring the issue to the falco repo.

How can we keep them in sync during the 4 months dev cycles? _(just thinking out loud) Perhaps we can create a .MD file in the Falco repo, and sync...

Maybe we can have just a short description close to the relevant setting, and long descriptions at the end of the file

In general, I wouldn't say I like the idea of exposing internal names to the users (because internals can change, but the external function remains the same). So perhaps something...
