I just happened to encounter this issue with Con Edison and it made me think of how the language might be worded. "Warning: 2FA can be bypassed through password reset...

An option to poke sites with sub-par or less-than-ideal 2FA might only make sense if/when a grade system is implemented (see #4308 and #4531): "Tell them to improve their grade!"...

Could anyone post instructions on how to remedy this from recovery mode? I’m struggling with Terminal and am locked out. Thank you for any help!

Thanks for the reply @chulander. I forgot to update this thread when my computer was stolen shortly after I posted. Unfortunately, it's moot now.
