Yes. And to handle this we need a specific "handle broken clipper" option rather than changing the general behaviour. I have it partly working when there is an active route...

Hm... As I understand it, the header-only monitor.log is created when one selects this format. If the logging isn't started after this only the header-only log you describe is left....
