Ran into the same issue, but instead of a `%` it just had some very weird json structure in there.
Obligatory os2 isn't ready for use yet + only really tested on Windows. This is an infinite loop on unix because `read` returns 0 bytes when at eof on Unix,...
The linked issue has been fixed, can you verify it also fixed this one?
