This is due to the way things are handled right now, which I haven't changed to better ways to handle the state of things like I did with Notejot, Countdown...
The tint shouldn't reach the part of the window that is showing colors, but I can reduce the strength.
The palettes I include by default are just examples, you can add this palette yourself if you need to.
I could add just the main colors but not the color-xxx ones; otherwise the color code to add this palette would be massive and unmaintainable..
This is in-progress, I am relocating relevant stuff to the bottom bar where the formatting buttons are.
Right now, making a note is generic, and won't auto-add a notebook if one is selected; this will be a thing in the next version.
Due to the change in the UX of notebooks, this is invalid now, as Notebooks are more of a search filter now, and can be easily added to a note...
This is a huge undertaking, and I would need massive help with this.
Any help is appreciated. :)
There are still some stuff missing like creating a note inside the active notebook, but for now 90% of the issue is done
