back when I was using virtualbox, switching to usb 1.1 (OHCI) fixed my issues, so you might want to try that if switching to 3.0 doesn't work.
I had this already solved by blocking the domain in my router (or PiHole or AdGuard). Shame for the ones that already bricked and just light blue now.

It's because the 1-min readings are intermittently reporting zero value. The meter reports a correct value, and then 0, then value again. This behavior started in the last few days....
