Then you run Normal simulation, not PIL. I haven't touched this support package for years, so you are welcome to figure out the problem on your own and send PRs.

I just noticed that Telegram desktop becomes blurry, too. And, unlike bornel, it is not fixed by oneliner `wlr-randr --output eDP-1 --scale 1; wlr-randr --output eDP-1 --scale 2`
