`jwt` has received updates in the last four months. It's an active project and is not a candidate for a takeover. I recommend closing this issue.
@Tommekster Would you update this PR to resolve merge conflicts? In addition, I'll benefit from some sample commands to demonstrate functionality will be helpful so I can test it locally....
