@zaquestion we're on it! :) just pushed [Teleport 2.0](http://gravitational.com/blog/teleport_2.0_released/) out yesterday, going to release 2.0-based Teleconsole asap.
@edmundlaugasson good idea. it used to be set in an environment variable in early releases... going to bring this back.
@shadiakiki1986 correct. Unfortunately it looks like Teleport 2.x series is structured in a way that would break backwards compatibility, i.e. 2.x based clients won't be able to talk to 1.x...
