I have just done a fresh install and had the same issue. I used the solution found here https://github.com/saleor/saleor/issues/9764#issuecomment-1127050108
You can also do it with a simple `imagemagick` command: `mogrify -format png *.jpg` Just wanted to let you know, as others might run into the same problem.
I dockerized the project to solve this and other problems, see #5
