Yes, I am using Arduino IDE 1.6.

The error looks much like https://github.com/TooTallNate/node-bindings/issues/50, and I wonder if the workaround outlined in https://github.com/TooTallNate/node-bindings/issues/50#issuecomment-1179479530 will work for you?

@kieran-osgood Thank you for reporting. We will investigate it but one question: does it also happen if you upgrade to v11.0.0-rc.0?

First I will say that I am impressed by the work done by @asabhaney. You have worked in areas of our code base which are not the trivial parts. But...
