I have the same problem using latest stable GrapheneOS on Pixel 6a for a some weeks. Turning off dark mode didn't help.

Do you mean dark mode? It should follow the browser preferences but I think it only works on Firefox. JS is required.
Can you please update to latest 2.5.0 and retry again?
