hi, are there any plans to make the theme automatically change based on the browser theme?

(btw, the theme can't be changed with JS disabled)

Do you mean dark mode? It should follow the browser preferences but I think it only works on Firefox. JS is required.

there are other FOSS front-ends that have automatic theme that works with JS disabled.

Invidious is one of them.

perhaps you could check their source code to see how they're doing that?
