I'd much prefer the names be in the flashcart_core readme, listing which carts are supported by each name (and the short name to go along with it)
@hedgeberg D9 also checks chipid, which I stopped doing to avoid softbricks due to overwritten chipid.
Sounds like failed cart init. I don't really have any suggestions at this point, unfortunately.
If you're concerned about a bad backup, go ahead and upload it and try using the proper backup from [here](https://3ds.guide/installing-boot9strap-(ntrboot)#section-v---removing-ntrboot).
could you provide images of your cart? I suspect that they had several different carts, just the ones that we kept dealing with were all the same.
The dualcore 2013 cart is actually a different cart, iirc more closely related to r4igold.cc and r4isdhc.hk. Apologies for not responding to this sooner.
So, it's likely possible. Is anybody working on it? Unfortunately not. We've all been busy with other stuff.
See a bit earlier, "more closely related to r4igold.cc and r4isdhc.hk" was my guess when I was more actively working on this. I think we even figured out how those...
Reopening until someone has the time to check whether this is actually a supported cart that isn't being detected or not.
