I haven't had access to this code in over a decade, but you're 100% correct.

There's a lot of similarities between this PR and our QNX port, specifically how credentials are deactivated in lower levels such that the higher level code can have fewer `#ifdef`s

This replaces https://github.com/COVESA/vsomeip/pull/713 , though it leaves out the good CMake changes.
