As far as I know it should be much easier now to add new geoservice providers after Jeroen refactored the code. Probably the same for Yandex or Here Maps.

You can fetch an [xml-dump](https://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/way/27040489) but this only gives you the ids of the points and not their coordinates.

I [posted to the OpenStreetMap forum](https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=769495) for suggestions on how to get this coordinates data via an API call or so.
Obviously/probably [API v6.0](https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/API_v0.6#Full:_GET_.2Fapi.2F0.6.2F.5Bway.7Crelation.5D.2F.23id.2Ffull) can do this.
