Partially. The white blob in the middle AKA stop button 😁 is a little too prominent for me. But maybe okay as favicon to clearly communicate what's going on...

Reduce the size to a typical favicon of 16x16 and check if it is still clear. I guess the Kimai icon is just not perfect for that (too much noise),...

Yeah, that is a known limitation right now. I could check if all entries have a global activity and then make the change optional, everything else gets too complicated.
