I experience the same but seem to trigger it when moving windows between displays, but I do use Stacks so maybe the root problem is there.

Sad that this isn't doable yet. I wish they would allow us to write the pattern beyond the prefix.

I'm on an ultrawide monitor and it takes about 5 to 10s before I see the UI to record on my 2015 MBP.

I was going to suggest this but I am happy to see the author came to the same conclusion.

Regex search would be really handy right now as I don't remember the 10 digit numer but could've done `/\d{10}/`

javascript.info is a great resource! I think it strikes the perfect balance between succinctness (w3schools) and technical (MDN) with plenty of easy to understand and natural examples with minimal amounts...
