Confirming this is oddly enough, an issue. Tested with a rom in the root of a drive, have the same issue.
Closing, years old and no reports of this happening.
Closing this, it's not only stale but SRM has never had anything to do with whether the overlay works with a non steam app or not anyway.
This appears to work as intended in 2.5.33, with every non steam entry I have showing in the list, it does however show none of the artwork I have applied...
Tested in 2.5.33 and this is still an issue, wouldn't exactly call it a bug but since it's an intended feature not working as intended...
