[BUG] Entries in "View Games" are blank

Open RuiNtD opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

  • Describe the bug

The entries in "View Games" may appear blank for the user, since the object keys defined in shortcuts.vdf are case-insensitive, but View Games is only referencing the keys by a specific case that Steam doesn't even use by default. This affects not only the display of the game name, but also of all the properties for the game (except for Start Directory, for some reason).

  • Steps to reproduce the behavior
  1. Click Add a Game on the bottom left of Steam, then Add a Non-Steam Game
  2. Add any game (or app) to Steam using the Add Non-Steam Game popup
  3. Close Steam and open SRM
  4. Go to the View Games tab
  • Expected behavior

All the entries in View Games show up as intended.

This is what it looks like for me, as well. All entries are blank rather than showing the non-steam game details.

I'm having this issue as well, looks like it's still here.

This appears to work as intended in 2.5.33, with every non steam entry I have showing in the list, it does however show none of the artwork I have applied on them.
