This update (v0.10.0) did not work for me in Webpack 3. I had to revert to v0.9.1 in combination with @kierzniak 's suggestion above.
I recently installed the [v1.24.0-beta1](https://github.com/OmniSharp/omnisharp-vscode/releases/tag/v1.24.0-beta1) pre-release alongside .NET 6 (ARM64) and `"omnisharp.useModernNet": true`. I can confirm that the dependency on the Mono process is no longer there when OmniSharp starts....
