Opacity Slider not working for Intellij IDEA

I have tried moving the slider around to make the indentation colors more transparent, but they still stay opaque regardless of the color and where the slider bar is.

I am working on a website for my business and wanted to add the facebook messenger integration into it. (I've previously integrated fb messenger with angular using a different package)....
