Thanks for clarifying. In that case we need to fix only the zookeeper log folder from getting created on all worker nodes.
I'm not clear why they had to re-generate all signature files and rotate GPG keys, but looks like it is their process. I'll submit a PR to update the new...
Added a comment to the Influxdb issue.
The existing RPMs has been re-signed again today! 
I haven't had the chance to test the PR, but overall the changes look good to me.
