Hello, I think that having APT and DNF (YUM) repositories would be the best. There are now more exotic solutions like snap and flatpak but we're not sure of adoption...
Binary d/l is good but it doesn't allow for systematic upgrade. I think that apt + dnf (yum) is the simplest and broadest option
That could also be a good thing, considering that users get billed when the IP address remain under their organization which can easily go unnoticed. But the possibility to fix...
