@brunchboy Can you check what response headers is server returning in the browser ? I think server/proxy might be responding with some WebSockets deflate-frame extension specific headers.
A plugin system is great idea. This might be a little complex to write/define since it will have many layers to handle ex Browser side: Rendering, Event Binding, Data in/out...
It should also have state for evaluation. ex "In progress", "complete" for ui feedback.
