That could work for lower currents. I think I have a stock DPS somewhere, I'll try it.

Yes, we really need CI. I have been thinking of setting up a CI in my workshop with DPS hardware, STLink, every single version of gcc, ... and test building,...

That's strange. If you dig some in the code you will find the coordinates for the offending widgets.
