No updates, we haven't progressed the investigation.
We will update the **deploying to a live network** to use [configuration variables](https://hardhat.org/hardhat-runner/docs/guides/configuration-variables) in the coming days (a large docs PR is in review that includes these changes).

Is this mainly in the plugin docs? Or is it in the core guides that we have these inconsistencies? We should keep in mind that we will likely need a...
@lilpolymath we are still in the planning stages. Any PRs that make our docs more consistent are always appreciated.

We should update this in light of our create2 config changes.
I have run the e2e tests locally. They are failing due to the new toolboxes not being in npm.
We have opted to leave this out of our initial Cancun release features, as it is unlikely to be heavily used initially.
