When an app steals focus the modal becomes unresponsive. This was patched partially in 0.19.2 version, but it's still easy to reproduce by playing a video in Totem.

Error message suggests that compiled schema can't be found. `gnome-pomodoro-test-executable` changes env variable `GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR` at runtime. My guess it's not allowed where you run it.
