Same issue here. No images in pdf either via path on my fs or url. Image is not rendered, throwing exception instead: easy_pdf.exceptions.UnsupportedMediaPathException: media urls must start with or /static/...

I just realised I've been adding the connections to the wrong element. Once I sorted that out, I got them moving as expected. Sorry for the noise.

Any news now? I can't keep removing **kwargs from init.
