I've looked this up previously, and it seems that this warning is innocuous...I'm reasonably certain this it isn't the vulkan installation since I get similar issues on 2 different windows...

Well..no. I do make a call to initialize a glfw window, but I'm not sure if that should affect vkb in anyway.

Update on this issue. I toggled an option in Vulkan Configurator that triggers break points on error messages, and every time it will break on line 712 or VkBootstrap.cpp, but...

The only part that matters is the call to init_vulkan.

I would strongly recommend merging this commit. It fixes a really annoying 'memory freeing' bug.
