what does login really mean?

I got successfully login with IdentityId: us-east-1:b2a3caea-e58b-41b7-bxxxxxx. How can i use it to access restricted contents?

on installing ANSICON on my pc (MS Window 7), in ssh remote session, my vi editor cannot exit INSERT mode.

/logout does not work

raw terminal gave a lot of garbed characters. I wish this ht may make ssh interactive session cleaner. ht ssh username@remote-host launching command "ssh username@remote-host" in terminal of size 120x40...
