FWIW, updating to Ember 2.11 and ember-engines 0.4 has resolved this issue for me.
I'm running into the same issue using Python 2.7.10 on OSX. Any info around this?
Ok, yeah that makes sense. I ran it a couple more times and was able to successfully create a droplet, and everything worked well. Might be worth adding a guard...
I'm on ember-cli 2.5.0.
