I just discovered you PostgreSQL prefpane and I think it is a great idea to have something similar to the MySQL prefpane. However, I was not able to install it...

Add a section for additional information. - postgres database version information - pgpane version information - location of database - etc.
Allow users to specify where the user wants their log file stored, where the postgresql database is, or any other needed information.
Add nicer alerts and notices when something is not found. For example, if the postgresql database cannot be located or pg_ctl is not found.
The NSTask find method, sometimes fails to find the pg_ctl script and needs to inform user.
