I'm seeing this as well on Ubuntu 18.04

This one seems specific to Windows support and the related Windows ticket that says msys2 needed to be the solution? I'm not sure what to do if the current solution...

@brunoqc , I've just tested this on OSX, using ImageMagick 6.9.6-2 and gcc 5.4.0. It compiled without issue. This must be windows specific then.

Is this still an active issue for Windows users?

I'm actually not sure. If we can find out how the ImageMagick 7 C-API offers the support, then we can figure out how to do it in the bindings :-)
