Anything noticable in the Nextcloud logs when the save happens? I guess the file is also not downloadable then afterwards? As for repairing such a file you might want to...

This is something that collabora would need to support, not sure if there is already a way to show a diff of two document versions. cc @thebearon

Any further errors in the Nextcloud log? The one shared above does not seem to be related to the document opening or richdocuments.

Can you maybe share where exactly you opened the document, e.g. if it was on Talk or the Dashboard or the regular files app?
