I wonder if its due to changes in helper methods; like finding all the pods for an RC so they can be deleted?

I guess we'd also need to wait for the scale to zero to take effect before recreating/updating the RC too. But yeah - nice idea!

Yes, using a rolling update is another option we should support; though we probably want a separate maven goal for that as we'd not be recreating / updating a single...

why not just use it and see how it goes then patch any issues? I suspect its mostly only the configuration for Gerrit and Sonarqube that needs polishing

am happy to submit a PR for the above if you like

having a configuration option to enable the navigation methods would be really nice - it'd be easier for folks that them maintaining their own templates

its maybe more useful to get the kubernetes apps for jenkins / nexus et al working in the fabric8 apps? https://github.com/fabric8io/quickstarts/tree/master/apps then there'll be no IP issues as things wire...

BTW I've got jenkins, nexus, gerrit and sonaqube running on master of the fabric8 apps. Am using Nexus and Jenkins right now on our internal OS1 cloud on kubernetes...

along with gogs (git hosting), taiga (issue tracker / kanban board), letschat / hubot for [chat](http://fabric8.io/guide/chat.html) etc.
