Gave this another shot. Still not fixable because there is no difference between an empty file with no mime type and a folder when you drag and drop in Firefox....

We requalified this bug as enhancement, because the error is caught. The enhancement would be to support upload of empty file, if possible, and anyway to have proper error messages...
