I would like this feature too, and I think https://github.com/terraform-providers/terraform-provider-digitalocean/issues/258#issuecomment-504611562 is the best to ensure multiple resources can be added to the project.

We too have this problem. We want o have workload identity on the plugin sidecar container and we couldn't do it. I think the `AVP_AUTH_TYPE` could still be `azurekeyvault`, but...
