i'm not sure we have xml being serialized to json yet. you'd have to add support for this.

that looks correct to me. i'd look at examples in the sample project testing suites.
I have thought about this for sure. With 2 API versions to support logic is ok, but with more major versions it isn't going to hold up.
if you wanna start going that direction i'm fine with it. maybe take the worst module and see how it goes.
