I did a quick hack to get it working on my fork that does that but its specific to acts as taggable-- theres a bug somewhere in the path creation...

This has been happening with me sporadically as well in production. I've also noticed when I pull my production database down onto my local machine this happens.
So does this have a workaround? I'm getting issues where sometimes grabFrame never returns.

I can confirm this is a real issue / causing problems
this is for sure a bug. It mixes the order of input and output streams. Audio doesn't work because of this. I think its more complicated than the proposed solution....
Gentle bump here. This is going to be the slow death of this library if not fixed :).
