Hot Reload -- Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object

I'm observing a similar error on HC 13.8.1. Suddenly my api is in this state, and keep hitting the error on all queries. Unfortunately I don't know how to reproduce....

@michaelstaib Are there any updates on this? We're really looking forward to try out HC14, but this issue holds us back.
