This is fixed in pull request #28 Unfortunately this library appears unmaintained so it has not yet been merged.

#23 provides the BSD licence implied in the setup.py file.

I think that sorted the whitespace issues? Sorry I actually realised just after submitting.

and yes this is directed at main v4 and was tested on v4.0.0
