toot notification crashes android interface

Every notification of a new toot seems to crash the android interface. I see the notification bar (on top) disappearing after which I get a wifi notification that the network...

No cert, just an internal error.

Hmm.. bot seems to think that if nobody says anything, the issue has magically disappeared. But no. Sorry, the usual unhelpful "internal error" Trying to renew the let's encrypt key...
