Failed to find file diff in diff mode

Hello,

I am in a diff mode of merge commit in tig. The bottom line tip is "Press '<Enter>' to jump to file diff - line 14 of 15". I have got this error message 'Failed to find file diff' when I press .

Is it my setting issue? I have config anything for tig. My system is macOS 10.10

Any update on this issue? I've exactly the same signature but on a debian stretch box.

@albasili Contributions are always welcome, either in the form of patches or a script to create a repo in which the issue can be reproduced? I recently fixed diff stat jumping for binary files.

i have the same question. hide author infomation os verision mac 10.13.1 tig version 2.3.0

Ahh, thanks @jzdxeb for the screenshots. Merge commits do not always have diffs so that would explain the issue. It would probably be better to turn of "diff jumping' in this case.

Sometimes I will encounter this problem, and in most cases it work fine.
