The problem here is that you are using Illuminate\Support\Facades\DB instead of WouterJ\EloquentBundle\Facade\Db.

Ohh i missed it. I searched for this on travis and composer and don't saw it. About post-install-cmd i agree could be the best.

There are benchmarks for this vs symfony, lumen, laravel, slim, etc., etc.?
